Senior Accountant Expert [$60 - $120/hour]
Role Responsibilities
Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards
Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios
Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights
Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues
Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations
Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams
Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation
Good Candidature
Bachelor s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
In-depth expertise in economics, accounting, law, government regulations, and taxation
Substantial experience preparing and auditing financial statements
Strong understanding of cost accounting and budgetary controls
Proficient in both written and verbal communication for technical subject matter
Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance
Holding or having held one or more of the following job titles: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Cost Accountant, Financial Auditor, General Accountant, Internal Auditor, Revenue Tax Specialist
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CIA) or equivalent practical experience
Experience advising on or implementing financial systems and controls
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex accounting concepts to diverse audiences
