Description
We are looking for a dedicated Airtable Platform Developer to accelerate the development of the centralized operational management system and own its day-to-day support. The platform supports program planning, delivery tracking, metrics management, resource visibility, financial oversight, and executive reporting. This role will act as the primary builder and support resource, allowing our leadership team to focus on portfolio management strategy and executive engagement.
What You Ll Do
Platform Development (60 70%):
Design, build, and iterate Airtable solutions (data models, views, interfaces, automations).
Deliver on a prioritized list of platform capability gaps.
Conduct demo sessions with stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and iterate.
Maintain high build quality (linked record integrity, formula accuracy, automation reliability).
Document every feature: purpose, functionality, and maintenance requirements.
Platform Support (20 30%):
Serve as the first point of contact for daily user support (how-to questions, view issues).
Manage user access and permission levels.
Triage and resolve broken automations, sync failures, or view errors.
Training and Onboarding (10%):
Develop and evangelize short reference guides and screen recordings for common tasks.
Deliver ad-hoc one-to-one and small group training.
Support structured onboarding for new user groups.
What You Re Not Responsible For
Platform strategy and roadmap prioritization.
Stakeholder relationship management or requirements sign-off.
Executive communications and presentations.
Decisions regarding what to build, change, or remove from the platform.
What We Re Looking For
Demonstrable experience building complex Airtable bases (linked records, rollup/lookup formulas, conditional logic, automations).
Experience designing Airtable interfaces for multiple user types.
Ability to translate verbal requirements into a data model with minimal oversight.
Strong written communication and async update discipline.
Responsive and reliable in a remote/hybrid support context.
Nice To Have
Experience in software product, operations, or technology program environments.
Familiarity with Agile/SAFe terminology (ARTs, PI Planning, Sprints).
Experience integrating Airtable with Jira, Zapier, or Make.
