Plan, develop, and manage all aspects of department special events, including NCAA post-season host events, programs, conferences, camps, clinics etc. Ensure logistics are prepared, including security arrangements, facility selection and reservation, menu planning, catering orders, preparation of briefings, seating arrangements, updating of RSVP lists, transportation arrangements, organization of event materials, and audio/visual equipment. Conceptualize themes, research requests, assess feasibility, make recommendations, and execute events. Ensure that events meet strategic goals of the department. Evaluate success of events and share that knowledge with members of the senior staff of the department.
