About the job you’re considering
We are looking for a collaborative and self-driven Senior Software Engineer to help develop, automate, and deliver software for complex connected products. In this role, you will combine hands-on software development with technical leadership across DevOps, CI/CD, mobile releases, and field issue investigation.
You will also use approved AI-enabled engineering tools to improve productivity, accelerate analysis, and enhance software quality while maintaining appropriate validation, security, traceability, and human oversight.

Your role
Lead DevOps and software delivery: Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, build automation, branching strategies, artifact management, environment configuration, and release processes.
Develop automation solutions: Create secure, maintainable scripts, tools, services, and utilities that reduce manual effort, improve developer experience, and strengthen release quality.
Support mobile product launches: Coordinate Android and iOS release activities including build readiness, signing, provisioning, packaging, deployment, configuration, verification, monitoring, and issue resolution.
Investigate complex product issues: Analyze logs, telemetry, configurations, and system interactions to reproduce issues, identify root causes, assess impact, and coordinate sustainable resolutions across software, cloud, mobile, device, and firmware environments.
Build quality and security into delivery: Incorporate automated testing, static analysis, security scanning, diagnostics, traceability, approval controls, and release evidence within an IEC 62304 Class C software environment.
Apply AI-enabled engineering: Use approved AI copilots, LLMs, and agentic workflows to support software development, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge retrieval while validating outputs and protecting sensitive information.
Drive work through completion: Establish priorities, clarify requirements, identify risks and dependencies, communicate progress, and take ownership from initial need through verified completion.
Collaborate across disciplines: Partner with software, systems, firmware, cybersecurity, quality, regulatory, infrastructure, clinical, product, and external teams to improve delivery and resolve product issues.
Your skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, release engineering, site reliability, product operations, or a related field.
Strong programming and scripting skills, including experience with Python, C#, and/or .NET, with an emphasis on secure, maintainable automation.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and software delivery practices using technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Git, Argo CD, Terraform, automated builds, artifact repositories, and deployment automation.
Experience supporting Android and/or iOS application releases, including signing, provisioning, packaging, configuration, deployment, release verification, monitoring, or rollback planning.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to independently drive technical work to completion.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with connected medical products, embedded systems, firmware integration, Bluetooth Low Energy, device simulators, hardware-in-the-loop environments, or mobile-device management.
Experience working within regulated or quality-controlled software development environments.
Familiarity with IEC 62304 Class C software development practices.
Experience using AI-enabled development tools, LLMs, copilots, or agentic workflows to improve engineering productivity, automation, troubleshooting, or operational analysis.
Experience with Visual Studio and related development tooling.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $68,911 - $161,544
