Senior Financial Controller – Remote, US - Up to $110,000 - Financial Services
The Opportunity
We’re working with a growing US-based financial services business that specialises in providing accounting and financial management solutions to Amazon and e-commerce businesses.
They’re looking for a Senior Financial Controller to take ownership of a portfolio of client accounts, lead and support an accounting team, and provide senior-level insight into financial performance.
This is a key role within the business, working closely with the VP of Operations and Executive Team to improve financial reporting, develop meaningful KPIs and continuously improve the way client accounts are managed.
For an experienced Controller who enjoys a hands-on, client-facing role and wants to have a genuine impact within a growing business, this offers significant ownership and responsibility from day one.
Responsibilities
Oversee the accuracy and quality of client financial accounts.
Review P&L statements, balance sheets and financial performance.
Manage client queries and act as a key point of contact.
Lead, support and develop the accounting team.
Develop and improve accounting processes and SOPs.
Create and monitor financial KPIs.
Analyse financial trends and provide insights to senior leadership.
Support Amazon and e-commerce client accounts.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accounts are completed accurately and on time.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Senior Controller, Controller, Financial Controller or Accounting Manager.
Strong accounting and financial reporting experience.
Experience reviewing P&Ls and balance sheets.
Previous team leadership or mentoring experience.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Amazon, e-commerce or marketplace businesses is highly desirable.
Experience working with international/offshore accounting teams is beneficial.
