Role Description The Finance Operations Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This role manages core finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring, while coordinating with accounting to maintain clean, compliant records. The Finance Operations Manager reviews financial data, identifies trends, and provides analytical insights to support operational and strategic decisions. Daily activities include monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing financial workflows, improving internal controls, and partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance financial efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and workflow coordination.
Robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, develop insights, and support decision-making.
Foundational Finance knowledge covering budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Applied Accounting skills with experience in general ledger, reconciliations, and compliance.
Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and communication of reports to stakeholders.
Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet tools and financial software; experience with ERP or accounting systems is beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
Experience in software, technology, or similar industries is preferred but not required.
