WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Hellyeah is the performance-growth engine inside Final Round AI, a profitable AI company raising its Series C. We run and optimize paid media for AI and consumer-app companies with real budgets, and we win on value-based optimization that ties spend to retained customers and revenue.
Our deals close on live expertise and warm trust, and today that runs through our founders. The open gap is the top of the funnel: a repeatable way to source, qualify, and book the right meetings fast. That is your mandate. You own the top of the funnel, carry deals through discovery and the audit, and document what works so it scales past you. You operate like an early-stage founder with a product that already has proof.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS
- Build pipeline from day one across outbound to qualified advertisers, warm-network and agency referrals, inbound from our paid ads, and events (Tech Week, Disrupt, our SF office).
- Run the full cycle to the line: qualification, discovery, and a value-based audit. On the biggest deals you bring in the expert to land the close, and you shadow, document, and start closing on your own.
- Qualify against a real spend gate. We pursue advertisers who can move the number, and you protect your time by disqualifying fast.
- Be the feedback loop between what buyers say in the field and what we build.
- Leave a written playbook. What you learn becomes the ramp for the next hires.
MUST-HAVE EXPERIENCE
- 1 to 2 years closing in a B2B or agency sales seat. Early in your career, high-output, and hungry to build the motion from scratch.
- You have worked at a digital marketing or performance-ads agency and know the business model cold: managed media, percentage-of-spend pricing, ROAS, CAC, CPA, and how a paid account actually runs.
- Live relationships with US-based agencies and advertisers that you can open in week one.
- AI-native execution. You run research, enrichment, outreach, and follow-up through AI tools by default, and you help push our own Clayton and brb-machine automation.
- Sharp written communication. You make a specific, compelling case in a few lines.
- Founder's mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable building in ambiguity.
- Based in San Francisco or moving here. We work from the office.
NICE TO HAVE
- You have run performance campaigns yourself on Meta, Google, or TikTok and can talk shop with a sophisticated buyer.
- Experience on a founding GTM team or in founder-led sales.
- A warm book in AI, gaming, or consumer-app.
- You have built outbound or CRM systems (sequences, enrichment, Clay, Pipedrive).
HOW YOU'LL BE MEASURED
- New qualified pipeline created, and roughly 10 qualified meetings booked a week.
- Opportunities advanced to the audit.
- Signed MSAs and new managed spend.
- Speed: every qualified lead contacted within 24 hours.
