Chief Technology Officer

Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) role is a full-time, remote position responsible for leading the company’s overall technology vision and execution. The CTO oversees software and product development teams, defines technical architecture, and ensures that technology initiatives align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This role includes managing IT strategy and roadmaps, prioritizing projects, and coordinating cross-functional collaboration with operations, product, and compliance. Day-to-day activities involve guiding technical decision-making, mentoring engineering leaders, monitoring system performance and security, and evaluating new tools or platforms to improve service delivery. The CTO also participates in strategic planning, budgeting, and vendor management to ensure scalable, secure, and patient-centric technology solutions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Software Development and Product Development, including leading engineering teams and delivering scalable, reliable systems.
Proven experience in IT Strategy and Architecture, with the ability to design secure, resilient, and compliant technical infrastructures.
Strong Project Management skills, with a track record of planning, prioritizing, and delivering complex technology initiatives on time and within budget.
Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated industries is highly beneficial, especially with familiarity in data privacy and security standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
Experience with cloud platforms, integration technologies, and modern development practices (e.g., Agile, DevOps) is preferred.
