The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Lead Band 5 RWR Program Manager (NH-1101-04) to work at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Arlington, VA or Eglin AFB, FL.

Salary: $107,446 - $142,990 per year. This salary reflects Rest of U.S Locality and may change based on location.

Qualifications/Requirements
This position is for a Lead Band 5 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) Program Manager. This position will provide program management leadership and oversight for the Band 5 RWR capability development effort within the Air Vehicle-Mission Systems Sensors Branch. The Lead Band 5 RWR Program Manager is responsible for guiding the development efforts and resource management across multiple programs, ensuring the successful integrated execution of the Band 5 RWR capability. The person will provide overall guidance and management for a team of program managers and engineers.
Major Duties
Duties include providing oversight of the Band 5 RWR program, including requirements management, integration planning and coordination across various branches, supporting appropriate product and program reviews, and managing/reporting on all Band 5 RWR products, metrics, risks, and technical issues.
Plan appropriate support for test and integration of Band 5 RWR activities within software and system labs to evaluate progress, status, and issues.
Responsible for and must maintain full insight into all aspects of Band 5 RWR development, production, and sustainment efforts to achieve integration of capabilities on all three variants of the F-35.
Interfacing across the F-35 Program Office, external stakeholders, Lockheed Martin, and key suppliers such as Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems.
Coordinates program status and planning to the Air Vehicle-Mission Systems Director, Program Executive Officer, Joint Strike Fighter governance structure, U.S. Services, Joint Program Office Program Management Offices (PMOs) and Functional staff.
Required Qualifications
BS or BA degree in Business, Management or relevant technical discipline.
DAWIA Program Management Practitioner Certification, with Advanced Certification within 3 years.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. This includes the ability to tailor presentations for customers, technical counterparts, as well as high-level staff and commanding officers.
The employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate Secret security clearance (Top Secret eligible) and be Special Access Programs eligible.
This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station (~25%).
The employee must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: The employee must obtain and maintain the appropriate Secret security clearance (Top Secret eligible) and be Special Access Programs eligible.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station.
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
If already an NH-04 or equivalent in AcqDemo or similar system, this would be a lateral move, not eligible for salary increase.

This position has been designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).

Candidate must have 52 weeks in lower grade to be considered for the position
Candidate may be considered for more than one position
Candidate is required to complete 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLP) every 24 months-Position may be subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) away from home station (up to 25%)
Candidate may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include evenings and weekends and may be subject to recall to meet mission requirements
PCS expenses if authorized will be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations
