Note: This is not a traditional graphic design role. This role is not a fit for candidates focused on print, brand, or illustration work — it centers on building clear, persuasive PowerPoint presentations under deadline pressure for litigation teams.
About The Role
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll develop visuals that support trial strategies by clearly communicating technical, scientific, and legal concepts in compelling formats. Working closely with attorneys, trial consultants, and internal stakeholders, you’ll create courtroom graphics, illustrations, timelines, animations, and presentation materials that strengthen case storytelling and support litigation success.
JOB DUTIES
Build and refine PowerPoint presentations that are the primary visual product delivered to clients and used in the courtroom.
Design slide layouts, master templates, and in-deck animations/transitions that keep complex material clear and easy to follow live, in front of a jury.
Conceptualize and design courtroom graphics, illustrations, timelines, and animations that convey technical, scientific, or legal concepts clearly and persuasively — built to work within or alongside a presentation, not as standalone print pieces.
Use invention, imagination, and design judgment to solve for clarity and persuasion, not decoration.
Produce supporting visuals using industry-standard design software (Illustrator, Photoshop) as needed to feed into presentation decks.
Design presentation materials that are clean, consistent, and aligned with case messaging.
Create, modify, and refine graphics and decks often under tight, trial-driven deadlines — sometimes same-day turnarounds.
Assist in developing visual strategy and storytelling approaches for trial exhibits and demonstratives.
Ensure final materials meet deadlines, presentation requirements, and technical specifications (including courtroom display formats).
Maintain organized project files and version documentation.
Collaborate with design team members and other stakeholders to understand case themes, strategy, and evidence.
Incorporate client feedback and accept direction from senior designers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong, demonstrable PowerPoint skills. Comfort with master slides, custom animations, transitions, and building templates from scratch.
Communication skills and the ability to present design concepts to non-creative, non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with shifting deadlines.
Capable of taking input from multiple stakeholders — clients, attorneys, senior designers — and adapting designs accordingly, often through several rounds of revision.
Reliable, consistent attendance.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of design principles and visual storytelling, applied specifically to persuasive/explanatory presentation work.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or associate's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred.
Zero to two years of experience producing complex graphics, animations, and/or presentations.
A portfolio is required, and must include presentation design work (PowerPoint decks, pitch decks, explainer/demonstrative graphics, or similar).

Timely delivery of high-quality presentation and design assets that meet the needs of legal teams.
Responsiveness to feedback and ability to iterate quickly and accurately, especially within PowerPoint.
Contribution to the clarity and persuasiveness of visual exhibits and presentations at trial.
Efficiency in project workflow and collaboration with legal teams.
Consistent production output that aligns with team expectations and case timelines.
Work Environment
