Workday SCM Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant with hands-on expertise in Workday Procurement, Inventory Management, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
This is a functional consulting role supporting Workday Supply Chain (SCM) implementations and optimization projects.
Candidates should have direct experience configuring Workday SCM solutions and working with business stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
Configure, support, and optimize Workday SCM modules, including:
Procurement
Inventory Management
Strategic Sourcing
Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
Partner with stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and recommend process improvements.
Support system testing, documentation, and deployment activities.
Provide functional expertise and best practice guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
3-5 years of Workday SCM experience.
Proven expertise in Procurement, Inventory Management, and/or Strategic Sourcing.
Strong understanding of supply chain business processes.
Experience working in complex Workday environments with advanced configurations.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Candidates must have hands-on configuration experience in at least on of the following workday modules:
Workday Procurement
Workday Inventory Management
Workday Strategic Sourcing
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience configuring Workday Procurement, Inventory Management, or Strategic Sourcing.
Experience gathering requirements and configuring Workday SCM business processes
Experience in at least one end-to-end Workday SCM implementation
Experience supporting clients in a consulting environment
Ability to explain specific Workday SCM configurations completed personally
Preferred
Workday certifications are a plus.
Prior consulting or client-facing experience.
Experience supporting large-scale Workday implementations or optimization projects.
