Senior .NET Engineer – Offshore India
Location: Remote - India
Working Hours: EST (US) Hours - 6:00/7:00pm - 2:00/3:00am
Must have Experience working in Banking / Financial Services Domain is recent.
Required Technical Experience
8+ years of hands-on .NET Engineering experience
Strong C# and VB.NET
.NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 5–8
ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, Web API
WCF / SOAP and REST APIs
SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Execution Plans, Indexing & Query Optimization
ADO.NET
Production Debugging & Root-Cause Analysis
Windows Services and Batch/Scheduled Processing
IIS, MSBuild, NuGet
Experience supporting and troubleshooting legacy/complex applications
Hands-on experience tracing issues across UI, APIs, business logic, and databases
Strong ability to explain actual hands-on experience with technologies listed on the resume
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot complex production issues across UI, APIs, application logic, databases, and batch processes.
Trace data and business logic across multiple systems and services.
Investigate financial calculation, transaction, balance, and reconciliation issues.
Maintain and enhance legacy WebForms, MVC, WCF, and .NET applications.
Develop and optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures.
Support Windows Services, batch jobs, scheduled processes, and file integrations.
Reverse-engineer legacy applications with limited documentation.
Implement production fixes while protecting system stability and business continuity.
Contribute to modernization initiatives, including migration toward ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, modern .NET, Azure, and improved observability.
