Role Description The Senior Operations Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring efficient processes across the organization. This position leads and supports cross-functional teams, manages workflows, and monitors key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement and operational reliability. The Senior Operations Manager coordinates resource allocation, develops and implements policies, and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with company objectives. Daily responsibilities include supervising operations staff, resolving escalated issues, optimizing procedures, and collaborating with leadership on strategic planning and budget management. The role also involves fostering a culture of accountability, documenting best practices, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong operations management skills, including process optimization, workflow design, and performance measurement.
Experience with project management practices such as planning, prioritization, risk management, and resource coordination.
Leadership abilities in supervising teams, coaching staff, and building collaborative, inclusive working environments.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed operational decisions.
Proficiency with standard business software tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, collaboration platforms) and comfort working in a remote environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Background in technology, hardware, or related industries is preferred, with familiarity in supply chain or logistics considered a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
