Chemex Detergents is looking for a driven Project Assistant to join our exciting Plant Extension Project team! Gain direct, on-site experience in industrial project execution, installation, and commissioning.
📌 Role Overview:
Position: Project Assistant (FTE)
Location: Mogra, Hooghly, West Bengal – 712148
Contract Duration: 6 Months (extendable based on project requirements & performance)
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 1 – 2 Years in project/plant engineering (installation, fabrication, commissioning, project execution, etc.)
Remuneration: Based on interview / industry standards
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Support execution of project activities for the plant extension project.
Coordinate effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Monitor day-to-day project progress, timelines, and milestones.
Assist in reviewing drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
Support equipment installation, fabrication, piping, and commissioning activities.
Maintain project records, reports, and ensure site safety/quality standards.
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
✔ Solid mechanical engineering fundamentals
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must
✔ Prior industrial/project site exposure
✔ Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings
✔ Strong communication, follow-up, and coordination skills
✔ Willingness to work on-site
