Salesforce Product & Transformation Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Salesforce Product & Transformation Lead (Consultant)
Changent is seeking a seasoned Salesforce professional to join us for a six-month, remote consulting engagement (approximately 30 hours per week) supporting a significant Salesforce transformation.
This is not a traditional Salesforce Administrator or developer role.
We’re looking for someone who can step into an active Salesforce implementation and operate as an embedded, client-side product and transformation leader—someone who understands Salesforce deeply but is equally comfortable navigating business processes, stakeholders, requirements, implementation decisions, adoption, governance, and organizational change.
The consultant will work closely with our Business Systems team, internal Salesforce Business Owner, technical resources, and implementation partner.
What we need this person to help us do:
• Quickly develop an understanding of our current and future Salesforce environments and the business processes they support
• Help move business decisions, requirements, dependencies, and implementation activities forward
• Evaluate proposed solutions through both a Salesforce and business-process lens
• Support requirements, UAT, data validation, readiness, adoption, and post-launch planning
• Identify risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Help establish Salesforce governance, intake, prioritization, roadmap, and backlog-management practices
• Strengthen the way we manage Salesforce as an organizational business platform
• Coach and partner with our internal Salesforce Business Owner so that knowledge and ownership remain within the organization long term
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience:
✓ Leading or supporting multiple complex Salesforce implementations or transformations
✓ Joining an implementation already in progress and becoming productive quickly
✓ Serving as a Salesforce Product Owner, Transformation Lead, Senior Functional Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, or similar client-side role
✓ Working effectively with external Salesforce implementation partners/system integrators
✓ Translating between business needs and technical Salesforce teams
✓ Establishing Salesforce governance and sustainable internal product ownership
Especially valuable experience includes:
• Nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
• Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and/or NPSP-to-Nonprofit Cloud transitions
• Experience Cloud and Service Cloud
• Data migration, integrations, reporting, and analytics
• Salesforce adoption and governance
• Agentforce and AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities
Relevant Salesforce certifications are valuable, but we're primarily looking for demonstrated transformation experience, strong product judgment, and the ability to independently move complex work forward.

📅 Initial six-month consulting engagement, with the potential for subsequent 90-day extensions
