MSU IT HR Coordinator
Position Summary
The MSU IT HR Coordinator will provide human resources support to a large and complex organization that provides IT services to the MSU campus. The position will participate as a member of the MSU IT HR/Facilities team in coordinating human resource functions at varied points of the employee experience.
Duties include working with staff and leadership to coordinate recruitment, interviewing and hiring activities, staff development and training, MAU reporting and the employee excellence program.
The HR Coordinator will partner with HR Administrators to deliver human resource services to all levels of department leadership. The position will also provide guidance and instruction to MSU IT employees and leadership regarding university and department policies and procedures, and participate in activities to effectively improve and streamline department processes and HR-related sites.

Minimum Requirements
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in human resources, a related social science field, or a field related to the operations of the department; six months to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in a human resources function or an area related to departmental operations; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with human resource functions such as performance management, training, reporting, labor relations and succession planning.
Experience with visa processing.
Experience with process development and mapping.
Familiarity with hiring, recruitment, and retention activities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
