Vice President of Information Systems

Role Description The Vice President of Information Systems at Leasing Inteligente y Sostenible is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the organization’s technology strategy and operations. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of core information systems, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability to support business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include managing IT teams, prioritizing and executing technology projects, optimizing business processes through digital solutions, and ensuring robust network security practices. The Vice President collaborates with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, establishes policies and standards for IT governance, and monitors performance metrics and risk management. This role also evaluates new technologies, manages vendor relationships, and drives continuous improvement across systems, infrastructure, and data management.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology skills, including systems architecture, infrastructure management, and enterprise applications.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess risks, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Candidates should possess expertise in Business Process analysis and optimization to align technology solutions with operational needs.
Candidates should possess robust Network Security knowledge, including security frameworks, incident response, and compliance standards.
Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives, manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
Extensive leadership experience in senior IT or information systems roles, preferably within technology-driven or financial services organizations.
Proficiency in remote team management, clear communication, and collaboration across diverse, distributed stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are beneficial.
Demonstrated experience with digital transformation, cloud technologies, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance.
