Position Overview
We are seeking an Architectural Associate to join our growing practice. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that align with our core values of sustainability, community, and regenerative design.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development of design concepts and presentations
Prepare architectural drawings and documentation
Contribute to research on sustainable building materials and methods
Collaborate on adaptive reuse and community-centered projects
Support client communications and project coordination
Participate in design discussions and provide creative input
Help integrate indigenous and traditional wisdom into modern design solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
2+ years of professional experience in architectural design
Proficiency in architectural software (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino / SketchUp, etc.)
Strong design sensibility and drawing skills
Interest in regenerative design, adaptive reuse, and indigenous building practices
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Portfolio that demonstrates creativity and technical skills
