Role Summary
The Area Manager, Academics is the single point of contact for all academic matters across partner schools in the assigned region. The role owns end-to-end implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Next Education's academic programs - driving effective use of curriculum, digital tools, labs, and assessments to deliver measurable teaching and learning outcomes. The role also carries commercial ownership of the assigned schools, including renewals and collections, built on the strength of the academic relationship. Reporting to the Regional Head / Zonal Manager, this is a field-intensive role suited to someone who is comfortable owning outcomes across multiple schools and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the implementation of Next Education's academic programs across assigned schools, ensuring fidelity to the curriculum and rollout plan.
• Conduct teacher training programs, orientations, and academic workshops to drive high-quality program delivery and adoption.
• Monitor classroom practices through regular visits and observations, and support schools in effective use of curriculum, digital content, labs, and assessment tools.
• Coordinate the delivery, availability, and utilization of textbooks, teaching aids, digital resources, and lab materials across the region.
• Ensure smooth execution of assessments, LMS/ERP systems, academic reporting, and compliance processes.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with school leadership, teachers, and internal academic and operations teams - the foundation for sustained renewals and account health.
• Own the renewal cycle for assigned schools to ensure timely renewals and collections.
• Track program performance against defined metrics, identify implementation gaps, handle escalations, and drive timely resolution.
• Conduct academic audits, classroom observations, and data analysis to inform continuous academic improvement.
• Collect and consolidate product and program feedback from schools, and share it with internal product and academic teams.
• Share regular reports, insights, and dashboards with internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.

Desired Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• 2–4 years of experience in teacher training, academic operations, curriculum implementation, sales, or school program management.
• Comfort with technology and digital tools.
• Ability to manage multiple schools, stakeholders, and priorities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven, solution-oriented approach.
• Comfort holding renewal and fee-related conversations with school leadership, grounded in the strength of the academic relationship.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Educational Qualifications
• Graduate / Postgraduate in Education, Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications in education, training, or academic leadership will be an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
• Mandatory travel (60%–80%) for regular school visits across the assigned area.
• Must own a laptop and an Android mobile phone for official work.
