Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time remote role responsible for driving strategic growth across existing and new markets. This role leads the identification, evaluation, and execution of new business opportunities, including partnerships, key accounts, and expansion initiatives aligned with Tenaris’s global objectives. Day-to-day activities include developing and refining business plans, overseeing sales pipelines, guiding account management strategies, and leading complex contract negotiations with major clients and partners. The Vice President collaborates with executive leadership, sales, operations, and finance to shape market-entry strategies, optimize revenue streams, and ensure long-term customer relationships. This position also monitors industry trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions and support sustainable business growth.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning, with a track record of leading growth initiatives and market expansion.
Proficiency in Sales and Account Management, including building long-term client relationships and managing high-value accounts.
Strong skills in Contract Negotiation, with experience structuring complex commercial agreements and securing favorable terms.
Extensive leadership experience in business development or commercial roles within industrial, energy, or related sectors.
Advanced analytical, financial, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret market data and influence executive decision-making.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities in culturally diverse, global environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, including managing distributed teams and collaborating across time zones.
