Senior Program Manager

About The Role
Gravitate is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead key account delivery program and help mature the company’s overall project management discipline. This role will be responsible for bringing structure, accountability, executive visibility, and disciplined follow-through to one of Gravitate’s strategic enterprise customer relationships.
The ideal candidate is more than a scheduler or status reporter. They are a senior delivery leader who can manage a complex SaaS implementation across customer stakeholders, internal delivery teams, product, engineering, integrations, support, accounting, and executive leadership. They must be able to turn ambiguity into clear plans, drive decisions, manage risks, escalate early, and ensure that customer commitments are delivered with transparency and control.
This person will own the operating rhythm for the program while also serving as a model for stronger project management practices across Gravitate.
Why This Role Matters
Gravitate's strategic enterprise customers have complex delivery, integration, operational, reporting, acceptance, and stakeholder-management needs. The program requires strong governance around scope, release readiness, customer signoff, issue resolution, period-end activities, integration readiness, acceptance criteria, and business adoption.
At the same time, Gravitate is continuing to mature its delivery organization. This role will help establish the behaviors, artifacts, and standards expected from senior-level project leadership: clear plans, disciplined RAID management, credible dates, strong customer communication, action-item ownership, governance cadences, clean executive reporting, and repeatable project controls.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Own end-to-end program management for complex customer delivery programs, including active delivery, stabilization, enhancements, integrations, reporting readiness, and future phases.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Delivery, Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, Accounting, and executive stakeholders to align priorities, dependencies, milestones, and customer commitments.
Delivery Governance: Establish and maintain program plans, RAID logs, decision trackers, milestone plans, acceptance criteria, and executive reporting to provide a clear source of truth for program health.
Risk & Escalation Management: Proactively identify risks, resource constraints, dependency gaps, delayed decisions, and customer readiness issues. Own escalation paths and drive issues through resolution.
Customer & Executive Communication: Lead internal and customer-facing governance meetings, ensuring clear agendas, timely follow-up, transparent communication, and executive visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
Delivery Excellence & Process Improvement: Strengthen project management standards across complex customer programs by improving scope management, change control, release readiness, customer acceptance, hypercare, and handoff to support. Coach delivery teams on project hygiene, accountability, and consistent execution.
Required Experience
7+ years of project management, program management, implementation management, or delivery leadership experience.
Proven success managing complex enterprise SaaS implementations.
Experience managing strategic customers with multiple stakeholders, workstreams, integrations, risks, and executive visibility.
Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, issues, decisions, change control, and acceptance criteria.
Ability to lead both customer-facing and internal governance meetings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive status reporting.
Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to manage technical dependencies and release commitments.
Ability to operate with urgency, structure, and ownership in a fast-moving environment.
Strong follow-up discipline and ability to hold cross-functional teams accountable without creating unnecessary friction.
Nice To Have
Experience in logistics, transportation, fuel, energy, retail operations, supply chain, dispatch, ERP, or integration-heavy SaaS environments.
Experience managing enterprise customers through stabilization, rollout, hypercare, and adoption phases.
Experience with Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, project trackers, PSA tools, or similar delivery management systems.
PMP, PgMP, Scrum, Agile, or similar certification is helpful but not required.
Experience improving project management maturity within a growing SaaS delivery organization.
