Role Description The Senior Financial Director is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing financial planning, reporting, and strategic finance initiatives that support Zentiva’s long-term business goals. This role involves leading the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for senior leadership and key stakeholders. The Senior Financial Director will monitor financial performance, identify trends and risks, and recommend actions to improve profitability, cost efficiency, and cash flow. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with relevant regulations, and alignment of financial strategies with operational priorities. The role also includes mentoring finance team members, enhancing financial processes and controls, and contributing to high-impact projects and decision-making.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy.
Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, consolidation, and compliance with relevant standards.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Candidates should possess leadership capabilities, including experience managing or guiding finance teams and collaborating effectively with senior stakeholders.
Extensive experience in senior finance or director-level roles, ideally within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or a similarly regulated industry.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with business intelligence tools is beneficial.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) are an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and uphold high ethical and data protection standards.
