Role Description The Advisor role is a full-time hybrid position based in Chennai, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the schedule. The Advisor will provide strategic guidance on educational programs, help refine academic and support initiatives, and offer recommendations to improve learner outcomes and organizational impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing existing projects, analyzing data and feedback, advising on policies and processes, and collaborating with internal teams to design and implement improvements. The Advisor will attend meetings with staff and stakeholders, prepare concise reports and presentations, and mentor team members on best practices and ethical standards. The role may also involve representing the foundation in external forums, building partnerships, and contributing to long-term planning.
Qualifications
Experience in education, social impact, or nonprofit program design, with the ability to provide strategic and practical guidance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret data, assess program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with diverse learners, educators, and partners.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
Familiarity with the local education context in Chennai and broader Indian education policies is beneficial.
