Role Description The Experienced Class A Truck Driver role is a full-time, remote position involving over-the-road and regional freight transport. The driver will operate Class A trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver loads on schedule while maintaining accurate logs and trip reports. Daily tasks include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading freight when required, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes, schedules, and any issues on the road. The driver is responsible for complying with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and customer requirements, and for maintaining cleanliness and basic care of the assigned vehicle. This role may involve variable hours, long-distance travel, and working independently in changing road and weather conditions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong driving and vehicle operation skills, including CDL Class A, Truck Driving, and experience handling commercial trucks.
Candidates should possess skills in freight handling, including safe Unloading and basic load securing practices.
Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and related safety and compliance standards.
Clean driving record, ability to pass background checks and drug screenings, and eligibility to work in the United States.
Experience with long-distance or regional trucking, time management, and route planning.
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with dispatch and customers, and demonstrate reliable professionalism.
