About the Role
We are looking for a Patent Analyst – Chemical & Pharmaceutical to support an AI training data project involving chemical and pharmaceutical patent information and drawings.
Responsibilities:
Search and evaluate chemical and pharmaceutical patent sources.
Review patent drawings, documents, classifications, and metadata.
Assess sources for relevance, quality, coverage, and availability.
Identify additional patent sources where coverage is limited.
Estimate available data volume by category.
Review European and international patent sources.
Flag licensing and access issues.
Support the creation of AI training data guidelines and examples.
Requirements:
M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Pharm, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of chemical or pharmaceutical patent search experience.
Working knowledge of Espacenet and PATENTSCOPE.
Strong research and analytical skills.
C1-level English proficiency.
Must have their own laptop/computer and necessary equipment
