Role Description
The School Ambassador is a flexible, community‑based role for students, alumni, or parents who want to represent Class Threads within their school. Ambassadors help classmates, families, and community members engage with the marketplace by promoting listings, sharing updates, gathering feedback, and supporting a positive, sustainable resale culture.
This role is remote and campus‑anchored — no formal meetings with administrators, no program management, and no heavy operational duties. Ambassadors simply help their school community use Class Threads and grow their school’s presence.
Responsibilities:
Promote Class Threads within your school community
Help students and families list items and navigate the marketplace
Share marketplace updates and stories on social media or group chats
Gather feedback from peers and community members
Support school‑specific moments (matriculation, Back-to-school, graduation, etc.)
Represent Class Threads as a positive, community‑focused ambassador
Qualifications:
Student, alumni, parent, or community member connected to a participating school
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable presence
Interest in sustainability, community building, or entrepreneurship
Reliable, positive, and comfortable helping peers and families
Leadership experience or campus involvement is a plus
