The company is dedicated to reintroducing traditional Indian superfoods such as Jowar, Bajra, and Ragi to modern diets, promoting healthier lifestyles through nutrient-rich, gluten-free options. SkyRoots works closely with farmers from drought-prone regions, supporting sustainable livelihoods while offering handcrafted and sun-dried cereals, ready mixes, snacks, bars, and baking mixes. Its products are highly regarded by Ayurvedic practitioners, nutritionists, dieticians, and fitness professionals, and are now available in over 6,000 retail and modern trade stores across 30 cities in India, as well as through corporate festive gifting.
Role Description The Sr. Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and executing visual concepts that align with SkyRoots’ brand identity and mission, across print, digital, and packaging materials. Day-to-day tasks include designing product packaging, marketing collaterals, social media creatives, website assets, and corporate communication materials, while ensuring brand consistency and high visual impact. The role will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, product, and leadership teams to translate business objectives into clear, engaging visual narratives and campaign assets. The Sr. Graphic Designer will also manage design projects end-to-end, maintain design libraries, coordinate with external vendors or printers when needed, and contribute to creative strategy and brand evolution. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division.
Qualifications
Strong visual design skills across branding, layout, typography, and color theory, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD/Figma or similar), including file preparation for print and digital.
Experience in packaging design, FMCG or food product design, and the ability to adapt concepts for multiple formats and materials.
Demonstrated ability to create digital assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, and online advertising.
Capability to interpret briefs, conduct basic market and visual trend research, and translate insights into effective creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Prior experience in a senior or lead design role (preferably in food, wellness, or consumer brands) and a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Relevant experience in video editing and knowledge of video shooting will be prefered.
