Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Training Manager role based in Mumbai. The Training Manager will design, implement and continuously improve learning programs for debt management team, aligning training initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting training needs analyses, developing curricula and learning materials, scheduling and delivering classroom and blended training sessions, and coordinating with business leaders to address skill gaps. The role involves evaluating training effectiveness through assessments, performance metrics and feedback, and using insights to refine content and methodologies. The Training Manager will also manage training documentation, support onboarding programs, ensure adherence to compliance standards, and collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to build a robust learning culture.
Qualifications
Experience in learning & development, including training needs analysis, curriculum design and facilitation of instructor-led and blended learning programs.
Strong skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and communication to work effectively with business leaders and HR partners.
Proficiency in using digital learning tools, LMS platforms and basic data/analytics to track training outcomes and optimize programs.
Solid understanding of banking or financial services operations, products and compliance frameworks; prior experience in a bank or BFSI sector is highly beneficial.
Ability to plan and manage multiple training projects, including scheduling, logistics and resource allocation, while meeting timelines and quality standards.
Demonstrated skills in presenting complex concepts clearly, coaching diverse learner groups and creating engaging, learner-centered content.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education or a related field; professional certifications in L&D, training or instructional design are an advantage.
