Role Description The Architect role at QUEST is a full-time, on-site position located in Gurgaon. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept designs, preparing detailed architectural and landscape drawings, and coordinating design documentation throughout all project phases. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with internal teams and external consultants, participating in site analysis, integrating ecological and urban design principles, and producing presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders. The role also involves overseeing aspects of project execution, ensuring design intent is maintained, and supporting project management activities such as timelines, resource coordination, and quality reviews. The Architect is expected to actively contribute to design discussions, stay updated on relevant codes and sustainability standards, and support continuous improvement of studio processes.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience in landscape or urban projects.
Experience in Software Development and Integration related to design workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM tools, parametric design, visualization software).
Demonstrated skills in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in design and documentation tools (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar), and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
Ability to interpret local building regulations and sustainability guidelines, with attention to detail and design quality.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Prior experience in urban, ecological, or community-focused projects in India or similar contexts is an advantage.
