Senior Content Developer

Role Overview:
Location: UK/Europe
Contract: 12 Months
Engagement: 40 Hours/Week
Compensation: Around £4,000/Month
We are looking for a Senior Content Development Specialist / Project Lead with strong experience in educational content development, editorial leadership, and project management.
The role requires someone who can take end-to-end ownership of content projects, coordinate authors and vendors, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure high editorial and pedagogical quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead content development projects and manage timelines, risks, and deliverables
• Perform development editing and ensure content aligns with project briefs and quality standards
• Guide authors and review/manage external vendor work
• Coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams
• Conduct editorial, pedagogical, and quality reviews
• Provide clear feedback and manage revisions through completion
• Prepare project briefs, templates, and editorial guidance for outsourced work
• Participate in project meetings and act as the key point of continuity
Requirements
• Strong experience in content development, development editing, or educational publishing
• Proven project leadership and project management experience
• Experience managing authors, vendors, and multiple stakeholders
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
• Understanding of learning design and pedagogical principles
• Familiarity with GSE/CEFR is a plus
