[EPM] Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer (Joining Bonus)

Candidates with 4+ years of relevant experience who join BGSV by the end of 31 December 2026 can receive a Joining Bonus equivalent to 1 month’s gross salary, subject to program eligibility and terms & conditions.
The EPM department focuses on software tooling development to support embedded products across the XC domains, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Car Multimedia (XC-CM), and Cross-Domain Computing & Software-Defined Vehicle platforms (XC-CE/SDV). We develop tools and engineering solutions that streamline software and system development for technologies such as radar, video, HMI, ultrasonic sensors, vehicle compute platforms, middleware, software integration, CI/CD, and cloud-connected SDV ecosystems.
Serving global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, we contribute to the advancement of secure, safe, intelligent, and software-defined mobility solutions by enabling efficient development, integration, validation, and deployment of next-generation automotive software.
Your contribution to something big
Perform requirement analysis, design and technical documentation
Take in charge of planning (task estimation)
Develop quality code (readability, maintainability, performance consideration) and handle / support Code Review in project to ensure high quality SW deliveries
Technical Skills (Must Have)
4+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating solutions on AWS.
4+ years of professional software development experience using Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or another modern programming language.
Strong Python or scripting skills for automation, cloud operations, API integration, and tooling.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, distributed systems, scalability, and reliability.
Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, and RDS/DynamoDB.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Amazon EKS.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with Git and GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Strong understanding of cloud security, including IAM, least-privilege access, secrets management, network security, and secure deployment practices.
Strong Linux/Unix fundamentals and experience troubleshooting cloud and production environments.
Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability in production environments.
Understanding of high availability, fault tolerance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery concepts.
Nice to Have
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
Experience with AWS Organizations, Control Tower, multi-account architecture, and AWS Landing Zones.
Experience with EKS, Helm, Argo CD, FluxCD, or other Kubernetes ecosystem tools.
Experience with Terraform modules, remote state, state management, and reusable IaC patterns.
Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures, including Lambda, Step Functions, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
Experience with NoSQL and distributed databases, such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
Experience with observability platforms, such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar tools.
Experience designing cloud migration solutions from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
Experience with DevSecOps, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container security, secrets scanning, and IaC security scanning.
Experience with platform engineering and building reusable cloud infrastructure/platform capabilities.
Experience with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
