Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and creating detailed drawings and presentations for client approval. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and furnishings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and ensuring design intent is carried through to execution on site. The role involves meeting clients, understanding their requirements, preparing proposals, and revising designs based on feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur, requiring regular presence at the office and project locations. The Interior Designer will collaborate with the wider project team to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification.
Proficiency in Space Planning with an understanding of Architecture principles as they relate to interiors.
Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for on-site execution.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and construction teams.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in an on-site environment is beneficial.
