Role Description The Senior Vice President is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading investment strategy, deal execution, and portfolio performance across ECG’s target markets. This leader will source and evaluate commercial real estate opportunities with redevelopment and adaptive reuse potential, oversee financial modeling and underwriting, and guide due diligence and transaction structuring. The role includes collaborating with internal and external partners on business plans, capital improvement strategies, and experiential programming to enhance asset value and user experience. The Senior Vice President will manage key investor relationships, support fundraising efforts, and provide clear, data-driven updates on portfolio performance and market trends. This position also involves mentoring team members, refining internal processes, and contributing to ECG’s long-term strategic direction.
Qualifications
Experience in commercial real estate investment, including sourcing, underwriting, and closing transactions with redevelopment or adaptive reuse components.
Strong financial analysis skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel or financial modeling tools and familiarity with capital markets and deal structuring.
Background in asset management or portfolio management, with a track record of driving operational improvements, value creation, and risk management.
Ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, including market research, competitive analysis, and positioning of experiential real estate assets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with investors, lenders, joint venture partners, and internal teams.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring colleagues, managing cross-functional projects, and influencing senior stakeholders.
Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional designation (e.g., MBA, CFA, real estate certification) is a plus.
Prior experience in experiential, mixed-use, or adaptive reuse real estate projects is highly desirable.
