Company Description K. Patel Phyto Extractions Pvt. Ltd. operates a high-capacity facility with 4,200 MT per annum raw material processing, using advanced extractors, distillation systems, reactors, and modern filtration, separation, and drying technologies to handle a wide range of phyto-based products. All manufacturing activities are supervised by experienced industry professionals to ensure consistent quality and reliable delivery timelines. The facility is designed to minimize contamination risks, with SS 316 used for contact and non-contact parts and a robust Cleaning in Place (CIP) system for efficient batch changeovers. Raw materials are stored with clear quality tags to avoid confusion, and production activities are documented in predefined formats that are regularly audited to maintain strong Good Manufacturing Practices.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Mumbai. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets, build and maintain relationships with key clients, and support revenue growth for phyto-extraction products. The role includes conducting market research, tracking industry trends, and collaborating with technical and production teams to align offerings with customer needs. The individual will prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and contracts, manage the sales pipeline, and provide regular performance and forecast reports to leadership. The position also involves attending industry events, representing the organization to external stakeholders, and contributing to strategic business planning.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and account management, with a focus on B2B or industrial products.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and identify growth opportunities within the phyto-extraction or related sectors.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as production, quality, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
Proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software for pipeline management and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
Prior experience in pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, plant extracts, or chemical manufacturing is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, travel for client meetings and industry events, and manage time and priorities independently.
