Jira Reporting and Portfolio Dashboard Specialist

VerraCloud is looking for an experienced Jira Reporting and Portfolio Dashboard Specialist for a three month client engagement.
The primary responsibility of this role is to design and develop comprehensive Jira based dashboards that provide technology leadership with visibility into project health, budgets, delivery performance, resources, risks, dependencies, engineering metrics, and overall portfolio performance.
The successful candidate must be able to translate executive reporting requirements into accurate, actionable dashboards and KPIs.
Executive Dashboard Responsibilities
• Build executive level portfolio dashboards
• Develop project health reporting using clearly defined status indicators and KPIs
• Create budget, actual cost, forecast, burn rate, and budget variance reporting where source data is available
• Provide visibility into project schedules, milestones, delivery status, and schedule variance
• Build resource allocation, capacity, and workload reporting
• Develop risk, issue, dependency, and blocker dashboards
• Create sprint, backlog, velocity, release, and delivery performance reporting
• Develop defect, severity, aging, production issue, and technical debt reporting
• Create portfolio level views across multiple technology projects
• Develop trend reporting to identify changes in project health and delivery performance over time
• Create drill down capabilities from executive portfolio views into individual projects and underlying Jira issues
• Validate the accuracy and consistency of dashboard data and metrics
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and dashboard standards
• Integrate Jira reporting with other data sources and reporting tools when required
Required Experience
• Minimum 3 years of hands on Jira experience
• Advanced JQL and Jira dashboard expertise
• Strong understanding of project health and portfolio reporting
• Experience developing executive and leadership dashboards
• Understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, burn rate, and variance reporting
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery metrics
• Experience with project risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and resource reporting
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills
• Ability to translate leadership requirements into measurable KPIs and dashboards
