Role Description The Civil Engineering Intern role at House Construct is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The intern will support senior engineers in conducting site inspections, assisting with structural and infrastructure designs, and preparing technical drawings and documentation. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and analyzing field data, supporting project planning and scheduling, and coordinating with project managers and site teams to ensure work progresses according to design specifications and safety standards. The intern will also help with basic quantity estimation, reviewing drawings and plans, and contributing to reports and presentations that support ongoing construction projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
Candidates should possess skills related to Project Management and coordination of construction activities.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Water Resource Management and related civil infrastructure concepts.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for working with engineers, site staff, and stakeholders.
Enrollment in or completion of a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Basic proficiency with engineering design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software).
Understanding of construction safety practices and fundamental building codes.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, learn quickly, and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
