Automation Python Engineer

Responsibilities:
Running automated tests in Docker containers and virtual machines.
Incorporating automated testing in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub integrations such as GitHub Actions and GitHub workflows.
Debugging and fixing issues in CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborating with developers and identifying test scenarios from feature specifications. Documenting and creating test cases in TestRail.
Requirements:
Automation experience using Python.
Automation experience with C++ is a plus.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies: unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, performance, and interop testing.
Test concepts like test suites, test cases, parameterized testing, mocks, and stubs.
Windows/macOS event monitoring.
Static code analysis and code coverage tools like SonarQube and CodeQL.
Able to write and maintain test scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
8+ years of experience in software engineering.
Hands-on with test frameworks like Google Test, NUnit, and Python Behave.
Experience with cloud platforms like VMware vCloud, AWS, or Azure.
Skills: Git, GitHub Actions, Bazel, Shell scripting in Bash and PowerShell, YAML, Docker, and Vi.
