Role Description The Safety Professional is a full-time, on-site role based in Siwan. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring health and safety policies, conducting regular workplace inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and company standards. Day-to-day tasks include identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and recommending corrective actions to reduce incidents and improve safety performance. The Safety Professional will deliver safety training to employees, maintain safety documentation and records, and lead accident investigations to determine root causes and preventive measures. Collaboration with operations, maintenance, and management teams is essential to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement in environmental, health, and safety practices.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices, with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including developing and implementing EHS procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in Safety Training, including creating training materials, conducting sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness.
Hands-on experience in Accident Investigation, including root-cause analysis, reporting, and developing corrective and preventive action plans.
Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with local and national safety regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to industrial and fabrication operations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels on safety matters.
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to prepare clear reports, safety guidelines, and documentation.
Prior experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial facility is preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Siwan and respond promptly to safety concerns, emergencies, and operational needs.
