California Roof Pros repairs and replaces residential roofs across California. We're building a statewide roofing company on one set of standards: the same inspection checklist on every job, the same documentation from permit to final, and one place a homeowner can call ten years later and get the file for their roof. The role
You own every job from the moment sales hands it off until the final invoice goes out. You are the one person a homeowner, a crew lead, a permit clerk and our AR desk all count on to know exactly where a job stands and what happens next. This is an in-office role at 5650 Imhoff Drive, Concord. You'll work with a team of Field Project Managers, our sales manager, and our supplier and crew network.
How a job moves through your desk
Handoff (day 0). Accept a job only with a complete packet. Incomplete packets go back to the sales manager. Confirm the job number is in the CRM.
Welcome call (within 24 hours). Confirm scope, color, payment milestones, expected timeline, HOA, access, parking, pets and dumpster location. Follow with a welcome text or email.
Permit (days 1 to 3). Submit to the city or county. Check Title 24 cool-roof requirements for the climate zone. Log the submission and expected issue date.
HOA (if applicable). Submit the same day as the permit. Track approval.
Material. Once the permit is issued, order from the supplier for delivery 1 to 2 days before start. Tell AR the delivery date so the progress invoice goes out.
Labor. Assign a crew, confirm availability, and confirm the crew's license, workers' comp and liability certificates are current.
Schedule. Confirm the start date with the homeowner at 72 hours and again at 24 hours. Weather holds get a call the same day.
Inspections. Schedule required mid-roof and final inspections and put the Field PM on them.
Closeout. Final inspection passed, warranty registered, completion paperwork sent to AR for the final invoice.
Every day
8am production board: every job's stage updated in the CRM
Flag any job stalled more than 3 days and act on it
Confirm each Field PM's site visits and photos from yesterday are uploaded
Confirm each scheduled crew showed up on time; escalate no-shows the same morning
Homeowner standard
Every homeowner hears from production at least once a week until the roof is built. Date changes are communicated before the homeowner has to ask.

What we're looking for
3+ years running production or project management for a residential roofing or exterior contractor, with direct responsibility for scheduling crews and pulling permits
Working knowledge of California residential permitting, Title 24 cool-roof requirements, and progress-payment rules for home improvement contracts
Comfortable living in a CRM all day and holding others to updating it
Direct, calm communicator on the phone with homeowners, crews and inspectors, including when the news is a delay
Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
Valid driver's license; occasional site visits in the East Bay
