Job description:
The Quality Assurance Manager is a senior function within ACET Migrations responsible for owning the full documentation quality lifecycle across Australian migration services. This role ensures every client file lodged by ACET Migrations meets the required accuracy, compliance, and regulatory standards set by Australian immigration authorities. The QA Manager leads the quality team, drives process consistency, and holds accountability for submission outcomes across all visa categories.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Setting the Quality Standard
–Builds a clear system for how documents should be checked and approved
–Sets the rules and targets the QA team works toward
–Makes sure everyone on the team knows what good looks like and works to reach it
–Steps in to help any team member who is struggling or unsure
2. Checking Files Before Submission
–Reviews every file before it is sent to the immigration authority
–Makes sure each file meets current Australian immigration requirements
–Gives final approval — nothing gets lodged without QA sign-off
3. Keeping Up With Immigration Rules
–Stays on top of any changes to Australian immigration laws and guidelines
–Updates the team quickly whenever rules change
–Makes sure the team is always working with the most current requirements
4. Improving How Things Work
–Creates clear step-by-step processes for the team to follow
–Spots where things are going wrong and fixes them properly
–Makes sure the same mistakes do not keep happening
5. Reducing Errors and Rejections
–Tracks where errors and rejections are coming from
–Investigates every rejection to understand why it happened
–Puts steps in place so the same issue does not happen again
–Works toward getting files right the first time, every time
6. Reporting to Leadership
–Keeps track of how each team member and the overall team is performing
–Prepares clear reports on submission quality, errors, and trends
–Shares findings and suggestions with senior management regularly
7. Working With Other Teams
–Works alongside case managers, migration agents, and operations staff
–Makes sure quality is not just a QA job — it runs through the whole business
–Gets involved in cases that are complicated or carry higher risk
8. Training the Team
–Runs training sessions to help the team improve their documentation skills
–Teaches the team about any new immigration rules or process changes
–Builds a team culture where everyone cares about quality, not just the QA Manager
9. Protecting Client Information
–Makes sure all client data is handled safely and kept private
–Follows all legal and company rules around data protection
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
–Has a relevant degree
–Has 3 to 5 years or more working in Australian migration services
–Has led a QA or compliance team for at least 2 to 3 years
–Knows Australian immigration visa types and what each one requires
–Has used case management or CRM systems before
–Experience across PR, work visas, and student visas is a bonus
