ENGEL is one of the world's leading manufacturers of injection moulding machines. ENGEL Machinery India pvt. Ltd is a 100 % subsidiary of ENGEL Austria Gmbh based in Viman Nagar, Pune. We are looking for a dedicated individual for the position of SAP Inhouse Consultant.
SAP Inhouse Consultant (PP, MM, QM)
We are looking for a dedicated SAP specialist for the PP, MM and QM modules to join our team. As a member of our IT team, you will work closely with various ENGEL departments to further develop existing processes in our SAP system and provide comprehensive support for the SAP applications.
Responsibilities:
2nd Level support in the SAP ECC system
Provide daily support by recording, analyzing, and rectifying errors in the SAP ECC system, with a specific focus on the PP, MM, and QM modules.
Business Process Optimization
Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize existing business processes and implement our lean concept.
System Customization
Participate in international projects to customize our SAP system, including SAP rollouts and S4 Hana conversions.
Documentation and Training
Create and maintain documentation, user manuals, and training materials and assist with user training courses.
Project Activity
Collaboration in projects with various working groups
Manage small and medium-sized projects related to SAP implementation and enhancements
Qualifications
Education
Degree in economics, business informatics or computer science or corresponding professional experience
Solid overview over business processes and IT fundamentals
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an SAP (Inhouse) consultant or key user in the SAP PP, MM, or QM modules
Practical experience as a SAP inhouse consultant or key user in in the production or logistics environment
Skills and work style
Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills and familiarity with agile methods
Analyze complex issues and communicate clearly
Work in agile environments and perform in a team with different characters
Act autonomously, independently and collaboratively with colleagues in Austria and the Czech Republic
Language Skills
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Communicate and document effectively in English
