Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Pest Control Technician. The Pest Control Technician will assess residential and commercial properties, identify pest issues, and implement appropriate treatment plans following company protocols and applicable regulations. Day-to-day tasks include performing inspections, applying pest control products safely, documenting services, and communicating treatment plans and preventive measures to customers. The technician will also support integrated pest management strategies, provide basic lawn care recommendations related to pest prevention, and coordinate with the team through digital tools and remote communication. The role requires adherence to safety standards, consistent recordkeeping, and a customer-focused approach.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Pest Control, Integrated Pest Management, and PEST-related assessment methods.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for explaining services, safety guidelines, and preventive measures to customers and team members.
Candidates should possess Lawn Care knowledge related to pest prevention and property health.
Relevant licenses or certifications in pest control or applicator categories, or eligibility to obtain them within a defined timeframe.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage schedules, and maintain accurate digital records.
Commitment to safety, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation when on-site visits are required, and willingness to travel within assigned service areas.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in environmental science, agriculture, or a related field is beneficial.
