Job Title: Payroll Accounting Associate
Experience: 3–7Years
Location: Bangalore – BTP, Bagmane
Shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
Key Responsibilities
Handle end-to-end payroll accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Perform payroll reconciliations and resolve P&L and balance sheet variances.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Ensure accurate posting of payroll-related transactions in the General Ledger.
Handle and resolve client payroll accounting queries within defined SLAs.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
Support internal and external audit requirements.
Monitor payroll KPIs such as accuracy, turnaround time, timeliness, and query resolution.
Identify process gaps and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Accounting and Payroll Accounting.
Hands-on experience in payroll reconciliation and journal entries.
Good understanding of payroll processes and statutory components.
Experience with payroll/ERP tools such as SAP, SAP ECP, BlackLine, UKG, or Cognos is preferred.
Experience in a shared services or client-facing environment is preferred.
