Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle ERP Report Developer to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions within Oracle Cloud ERP. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle reporting tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC, coupled with a solid understanding of finance and HCM business functions. This role involves partnering with business and IT teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and insightful reports, while providing end-user support and training to maximize user adoption and understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy reports using Oracle ERP Cloud tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC.
Translate business requirements into effective, scalable reporting solutions ensuring performance and maintainability.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including design specifications, data mappings, and data models.
Analyze business needs and generate data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Validate report data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Develop ad-hoc reports and schedule data extracts for various business units.
Collaborate with Finance, HCM, PPM, and IT stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting needs.
Troubleshoot report performance issues and resolve data discrepancies.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and knowledge transfer to junior developers and power users.
Conduct training sessions on report usage, features, and best practices.
Stay current with updates and new features in Oracle Cloud ERP reporting tools and recommend best practices for implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud and related reporting tools (BI Publisher, OTBI, BICC).
Strong proficiency in HCM Extract, HCM Data Loader, Payroll, Absence, Core HR, Talent Management.
Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL scripting.
Experience with Oracle Cloud data models and subject areas.
Understanding of Oracle Financials (GL, AR, AP), HCM, and PPM modules.
Ability to optimize report performance and handle large datasets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
