Role Description This is a 3‑month contract role for a QA Engineer specializing in both manual and automation testing, based on-site in Coimbatore. The role involves reviewing requirements and technical specifications, designing test plans and test cases, and executing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests. The QA Engineer will create and maintain automated test scripts, log and track defects, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure timely resolution and high product quality. Day-to-day responsibilities also include participating in test review meetings, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, and ensuring that releases meet agreed quality standards before deployment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Control to design, execute, and refine test processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management to help define standards, metrics, and continuous improvement practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing and familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or similar compliance frameworks, where applicable.
Experience with manual test case design, defect tracking tools, and test management systems.
Hands-on experience in test automation (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks) and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.
Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and meet tight release timelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in QA and software testing.
