Role Description The Collaborative Product Builder will support the design and development of learning-focused technology projects, working closely with the core team and other contributors. This volunteer, on-site role in Bengaluru involves participating in brainstorming sessions, prototyping simple hardware or software solutions, documenting processes and outcomes, and helping shape engaging educational experiences around these products. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with product experiments, testing and refining project components, organizing materials and workspaces, and contributing ideas to improve user experience and learning impact. The role is suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on building, collaborative problem-solving, and learning across disciplines such as robotics, software, and design.
Qualifications
Interest in technology creation, including basic exposure to robotics, software, or design, and a willingness to learn through hands-on projects.
Ability to collaborate effectively in small teams, contribute ideas, listen actively, and participate in structured project work.
Strong curiosity, problem-solving mindset, and comfort exploring new tools, methods, and learning systems.
Basic organizational and documentation skills, including keeping clear notes, capturing learnings, and supporting project workflows.
Reliable on-site availability in Bengaluru and readiness to engage in a volunteer capacity.
Any prior experience with DIY projects, educational initiatives, maker spaces, or product prototyping is beneficial but not required.
