Educational Book Designer

Book Designer
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Book Designer / Graphic Designer with hands on experience in book designing, publishing, and print-ready file preparation. The ideal candidate should have previously designed educational books, manuals, workbooks, catalogs, or similar publications and possess strong expertise in CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and layout educational books, manuals, workbooks, magazines, brochures, and other print materials.
• Create attractive page layouts with proper typography, spacing, alignment, and visual hierarchy.
• Design book covers, inside pages, worksheets, infographics, icons, and illustrations.
• Prepare print-ready files according to publishing and printing standards.
• Ensure consistency in branding, colors, fonts, and overall design across all publications.
• Edit and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop.
• Work closely with the Academics Team to convert raw content into professionally designed books.
• Coordinate with printers and publishers to ensure error-free final output.
• Manage multiple book projects while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills
• Strong expertise in CorelDRAW (Mandatory)
• Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop (Mandatory)
• Good knowledge of page layout, color theory, and print design.
• Experience in book publishing and print production.
• Ability to create print-ready PDF files.
• Good attention to detail and design aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with educational books, textbooks, robotics/STEM books, or children's publications.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign will be an added advantage.
• Understanding offset and digital printing processes.
• Experience creating diagrams, illustrations, and infographics.
Experience
• 2–5+ years of professional experience in Book Designing / Publishing / Print Media.
• Must have a portfolio showcasing previously designed books or publications.
• Candidates with experience in educational publishing will be preferred.
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related fields.
Software Proficiency
• CorelDRAW (Mandatory)
• Adobe Photoshop (Mandatory)
• Adobe Illustrator (Preferred)
• Adobe InDesign (Preferred)
