QC Inspector

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented QC Inspector, to perform inspections of incoming materials and support quality operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history, excellent attendance, personal accountability, and a commitment to performing quality work.
Technical skills can be trained for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials and receive goods for quality.
Complete inspection records and maintain quality documentation.
Check and unload incoming shipments.
Count, weigh, and measure materials against invoices, orders, bills of landing, and other records.
Identify shortages, damaged materials, and non-conforming materials.
Maintain the receiving area in a neat and orderly manner.
Route materials to the appropriate departments.
Work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and quality issues.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and receiving activities.
Perform basic testing and sampling procedures.
Support ongoing quality projects.
Enter data and prepare reports using computer systems.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous Quality Control, Quality Inspection, Receiving, or Warehouse experience preferred.
Mechanical inspection experience preferred.
Experience in an FDA- or ISO-regulated environment is a plus.
Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, or other measuring tools is a plus.
Knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, FDA QSR, ISO 9000, or ISO 13485 is a plus.
Basic MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and a "do it right the first time " mindset.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/receiving environment.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Ability to stand and/or walk for more than four hours per day.
