Role Description The Warehouse Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruppur. The person in this role will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching stock in line with company procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with procurement and retail teams, and optimizing storage layouts for efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensure adherence to quality and safety guidelines, and troubleshoot operational issues to maintain smooth workflows. This role also involves continuous process improvement, supporting audits, and ensuring timely fulfillment of internal and external orders.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Stock Control and Inventory Control skills to ensure accurate tracking and availability of products.
Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills to manage stock levels, record movements, and support demand planning.
Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to oversee daily warehouse activities and improve efficiency.
Candidates should possess Forklift Operation or similar material-handling skills, with a focus on safety and proper equipment use.
Experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in apparel, textiles, or retail distribution.
Ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Working knowledge of warehouse management systems or inventory software; MS Excel proficiency is beneficial.
Educational background in logistics, supply chain, operations, or a related field is preferred.
Commitment to workplace safety, compliance with company policies, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes.
