Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physics Teacher role based at St Ann's Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Palghat. The Physics Teacher will plan and deliver clear, engaging lessons aligned with the school curriculum, integrating both theoretical concepts and practical applications. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, guiding students through problem-solving and experiments, assessing student progress through tests and assignments, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will support students in exam preparation, provide extra academic help when needed, and participate in staff meetings, parent interactions, and school activities. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, creating a safe learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance overall teaching standards.
Qualifications
Strong subject knowledge and teaching capability in Physics and Physics Education.
Ability to design and implement effective Lesson Planning and classroom instruction.
Competence in related areas such as Mathematics to support physics concepts and problem-solving.
Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, student engagement, and clear communication.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Physical Science, or Education with a specialization in science.
Prior experience teaching physics at middle or higher secondary level is preferred.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, accessible manner and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
Proficiency in using basic educational technology and lab equipment for demonstrations and experiments.
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to student success and academic excellence.
